Trung Quốc kết án tử hình 2 người trong vụ sữa nhiễm melamine

An ninh được thắt chặt tại phiên tòa xét xử các bị cáo trong vụ bê bối sữa.

Tòa án Trung Quốc hôm nay đã kết án tử hình hai người và kết án chung thân cựu lãnh đạo công ty là trung tâm trong vụ bê bối sữa bột nhiễm melamine, khiến ít nhất 6 em nhỏ tử vong và gần 300.000 em khác bị ảnh hưởng.
Tòa án nhân dân ở Thạch Gia Trang đã kết án chung thân đối với Tian Wenhua, 66 tuổi, cựu chủ tịch và tổng giám đốc công ty sữa Tam Lộc, công ty là trung tâm trong vụ bê bối sữa nhiễm melamine vào năm ngoái. Bà là quan chức cấp cao nhất của công ty bị kết án trong vụ bê bối sữa này.
Tại phiên tòa cuối tháng 12 vừa qua, bà Tian đã bị kết tội sản xuất và bán sản phẩm giả, không đủ tiêu chuẩn trong vụ bê bối sữa được đưa ra ánh sáng hồi tháng 9/2008.
Ngoài ra, tòa án cũng kết án tử hình Zhang Yujun, 40 tuổi, là chủ một phân xưởng được cho là nguồn cung cấp melamine lớn nhất Trung Quốc. Người thứ hai bị kết án tử hình là Geng Jinping, do sản xuất và bán thực phẩm nhiễm độc.
Tổng cộng 21 bị cáo liên quan đến vụ bê bối sữa đã bị kết án trong ngày hôm nay.
Hai người đàn ông, trong đó có Zhang Yanzhang, 24 tuổi, bị kết án chung thân vì gây nguy hại tới sự an toàn của công chúng. Zhang Yanzhang làm việc cho Zhang Yujun.
3 cựu giám đốc khách của Tam Lộc bị kết án từ 5-15 năm tù giam.
